Choice+Plus has a low minimum balance of $100 and dividends are paid on average daily balances of $1,000 or more. If your balance falls below $100 during the month, an $8 fee is charged. Check writing is limited to 20 free checks per month; $.10 per check thereafter.

Occasional Overdraft Privilege Service (OOPS!)
Mistakes may happen, but you can be covered by OOPS! With OOPS!, your credit union may honor an overdraft transaction up to a maximum preset limit (depending on your type of account.) All you need is an eligible MVFCU checking account, and if you qualify, your OOPS! amount will be automatically assigned, based on your account type and relationship with MVFCU.*

*Restrictions apply. MVFCU is not obligated to pay any non-sufficient funds item. OOPS! fee will be assessed.

Automatic Transfer/Direct Deposit
With Direct Deposit, your paycheck, Social Security or other government check is automatically deposited in your MVFCU accounts. There is no need to make special trips to the credit union each month to make your deposits. And, there is no need to worry about lost or stolen checks! Automatic Transfer lets you automatically make deposits to your checking and savings account, IRA, and other family member accounts. You may also make monthly loan payments with Automatic Transfer.

VISA Debit Card
A checking account at the credit union means you also get the convenience of our free* Visa Debit Card. Our VISA Debit Card offers the convenience of a debit card and ATM card all in one! Use it just like a regular ATM card to perform ATM transactions. You can also make purchases from any merchant who accepts VISA. Your card works like a credit card, but your purchases are deducted right from your MVFCU checking account.
